*** 2012 - Jubilee and Olympics year! ***

Sidmouth Folk Festival '06
Welcome to the official Wreckers Border Morris website.  We are a lively mixed side, based at St. Dominick, which is in the beautiful Tamar Valley, on the sunny Cornwall side.

We perform both traditional and new dances, and so have a varied, evolving assortment.

Wreckers Morris are a friendly bunch and new members are always welcome, previous experience is not necessary.  If you want to dance or just play music, please come and have a go.

Another reflective note from the Squire!

Here it is.  The practice season is almost over and we are fast moving towards a fun packed season.  One of the pleasures of this year's practice has been Yowynks (Yonkes) our youth side, which has now swelled to ten members and looks likely to swell again further after a visit to St Austell College.  We are still recruiting young people - especially musicians with the ultimate aim of taking the largest representation of Cornwall to the Olympics!  I am also hoping that there will be several of the Yowynks joining us at other events throughout the year.

This year we are attending festivals in Crediton, Chippenham, Raddon Hill, Sidmouth, Swanage and Weymouth, plus if you live in Cornwall or West Devon - possibly in a pub, fete or high street near you!

We are also looking forward to catching up with old friends, dancing and playing with them at various venues throughout the year.

We will always welcome new members (Dancers or musicians) - what ever your experience, as we will endevour to bring you upto speed as soon as possible, so that you can join in the fun.

Hold onto your hats!  2012 - here we go! cheesey.png
