Welcome to the official Wreckers Border Morris website. We are a lively mixed side, based at St. Dominick, which is in the beautiful Tamar Valley, on the sunny Cornwall side. We are officially ten years old this year! Subsequently we are planning to celebrate it as much as possible.
We perform both traditional and new dances, and so have a varied, evolving assortment.
Wreckers Morris are a friendly bunch and new members are always welcome, previous experience is not necessary. If you want to dance or just play music, please come and have a go.
Latest News Hope you had as much fun as we did on Saturday 13th March. There appeared to be lots of smiling faces on people who came. The band would like to apologies for the difficulties they had with acoustics within the hall, it appears that it gave a few people some problems. A huge thank you to all who helped with the Ceilidh, including (in no particular order) Connie, Alan, Howard, Andrew, Fran and Derek, some of whom traveled over 200 miles to assist us. One of the next events are we are having is a weekend of dance, to happen on weekend of 13th August. Great News! Our friends from across the pond, from Rhode Island are coming! LORPS are coming to visit again, this time with Jack in the Green. They are hoping to come weekend of Friday 6th August. All in all a busy year! The program will be going up soon – watch this space…
